Know your sister size

It’s very important to know your sister size as it helps you find your best fit. So what exactly is a sister size? Sister sizes are groups of bra equivalent to your size. For example if you are a 34 B then your sister sizes would be 32 C and 36 A that means all these sizes belong to the same family group. Sister sizes help when your bra doesn’t fit properly like if you try on a bra that is 34 B and its band is a little loose but the cup is a little tight you can’t go for 32 B as the B cup already doesn’t fit then you need to go for your sister size 32 C.

It is important to know that when you try on bra your bra should fit on the first hook and not the last or middle hook. Similarly if the band is too tight then that’s also a wrong fit. How do you know the band is the right size? The band should lie parallel to your back and should not be higher or lower.

How to know your sister size?

After trying on the bra if it’s easier to figure out your sister size as if your band is a bit loose and the cups are tighter then you need to go sister size down and if the band is tighter and cup is loose then you need to go sister size up.

  • Sister Size Down: Go a band size down and cup size up for instance if you are a 34 B’s then you can go for 32 C.
  • Sister Size Up: Go a band size up and a cup size down for instance if you are 34 B then you can go for 36 A.
